In June 2012, Sir Philip Cohen, former President of the Biochemical Society, was honored for his contribution to the Biochemical Journal.
His papers published in the Biochemical Journal have attracted more than 10,000 citations and as a body of work have accrued an h-index of 37.
At a special Symposium held in Dundee to celebrate his 21 years as Director of the MRC Protein Phosphorylation Unit, he was presented with an “Outstanding Contributor” award by the Chair of the Editorial Board, Professor Peter Shepherd.
