Young Scientists Program at IUBMB-FEBS Congress 2012
The 37th FEBS Congress will be a joint meeting with the IUBMB in September 2012 in Sevilla Spain. For the 2012 Congress, a ‘Young Scientists Program’ satellite meeting for 125 young scientists will take place from 1st to 4th September 2012.

FEBS Fellowships
Members of the Biochemical Society (a constituent Society of FEBS) are eligible to apply for both long and short term fellowships. Some changes have been made to the Fellowships, including:
– A new electronic application system
– Two calls each year for Return-To Europe Fellowships
– A yearly get together of Long-Term Fellows

The FEBS/EBO Women in Science Award 2011
The Award recognises and rewards the exceptional achievements of a female researcher in the life sciences over the previous five years. The awardee this year was Prof. Carol Robinson from the Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford, a pioneer in the development and use of mass spectrometry for structural studies of large multimedia protein assemblies.
