Young Life Scientists’ Symposium

Professor John Coote awards Maria her prize at the YLS meeting in Birmingham yesterday

We are proud to announce that Maria Fragiadaki from Imperial College London won the Centenary poster prize at the Young Life Scientists’ Symposium on Autonomic control in health and disease. Her poster entitled “Identification of CUX1 as a novel TGFb activated transcription factor capable of potently silencing type I collagen: Implications for tissue scarring” won over the judges and the audience. We’d also like to say well done to the organizing committee who put together a great programme leading to the meeting being a great success.
